“Whether quietly or violently, individually  or collectively, we must find ways to release
the pressure and confront what holds us captive, while respecting every
human being’s right to live, breathe, and exist with dignity.”

Art reflects life, just as life reflects art. This series serves as a visual response to the current state of our world, encouraging us to stop for a moment and confront what is happening around us and within us. In a time when pressure mounts from all directions, when it feels like the world is on fire and fear, insecurity, and anxiety have become part of our daily lives, we watch familiar systems and societal structures collapsing around us. As we face an impending existential crisis, we witness wars, violence, the displacement of millions of people, the suffering of refugees, and the devastating consequences of climate change. We see attacks on women and minorities, on diversity, religion, and our fundamental human rights, leaving so many feeling helpless, powerless, and victimized.

Deliverance is about breaking free. It is not simply about letting go or finding inner peace. It is about releasing the pressure, the fear, the anger, and the pain that build up when we feel trapped by circumstances beyond our control. It can be quiet or explosive, an eruption or a necessary act of survival. It can be personal, but it is also collective — a desperate need to free ourselves from the forces that divide, oppress, and destroy us.

This series reflects not only my personal experiences and the pressures I face in daily life, but also the collective anxiety and anguish felt around the world. We are standing at a threshold, in the eye of an unprecedented storm, facing a profound global shift with consequences that will affect us all. For millions, deliverance is not an abstract idea but an urgent necessity: an escape from war, persecution, displacement, and the destruction of the environment they depend on for survival.

We cannot remain helpless or surrender to the feeling that we have lost control. We must find ways to break through, to release what threatens to consume us, and to reclaim our ability to act. Our survival depends on the decisions we make, on our willingness to stand together, and on our responsibility toward one another.
